comet
Published 1 year, 10 months ago in Where I Live.You have just got to get outside tonight and have a look at the comet.
Its just above and to the left of were the sun would have set (south west) .
In all the years of stargazing i have yet to see anything like it!!

I was driving my son home from work when we noticed this thing in the sky. At first my son thought it was a plane and pointed it out to me. I took a quick look as I was driving and told him it is dumping alot of fuel if it was. After arriving home and asking my partner iif there was anything happening in the sky he knew of, he said a comet was around. We then got the 7 year old to come out and watch it. My eldest of the two boys that where home at the time asked if we could take photos of it. Well I took the two boys for a small drive towards daylesford where the night sky is darker no lights. We took photos. Out of 30 shots I got one that we know is the tail of the comet. But it was well worth the drive. And both the boys and myself will talk about the night we chased the comet for a while yet.
